Back in 2021…
The idea of MakerSpace was born!
After a successful bid for a much needed Future High Streets regeneration fund, the Seeds for MakerSpace were sewn, and in late 2021 the old DWP building on High Pavement was secured as its official home. High Pavement House then began its long renovation where the ground floor would house MakerSpace, a place for like-minded people to meet and share their love of creating, crafting, making, and inventing whilst accessing the machines and skills to help their projects come to life.
