• Closed-toe shoes are mandatory for anyone entering the Messy Room and Workshops.
  • Shoes must fully cover the top, sides, and back of the foot.
  • No sandals, flip-flops, open-back shoes, or perforated footwear (e.g., Crocs) are permitted.
  • Footwear should be sturdy and made from materials that offer protection against hot spills, falling tools, or sharp objects.
  • This rule applies at all times, regardless of whether equipment is in use.
  • Protection from burns caused by hot materials, kiln shelves, or heated tools.
  • Prevention of injuries from dropped items such as ceramic pieces, tools, or kiln furniture, heavy tools, wood or metal.
  • Reduced risk from sharp debris, broken pottery, or glass fragments on the floor.
  • Team Leads or session supervisors will deny entry to anyone not wearing suitable footwear.
  • Persistent non-compliance may result in removal of AMS access privileges.
