Other Crafts open area

We have two large open areas for you to sit and work. One side will also host our basic upholstery workshops.
The tables are moveable to create the perfect crafting space whatever your needs. We also have a large moveable unit that houses our Silhouette cameo cutters and printers, a glue gun workstation and a bench for leather craft and jewellery.

WHAT CAN I USE?

We have lots of donated items and some starter packs that we have purchased to get us going such as glue consumables. You can use anything that is out. Our materials are subject to fair use and a donation towards the cost is appreciated as this helps us stock up with more consumables.

DO I NEED TO BOOK?

Nothing in the Other Crafts open area needs booking. If part of the area is being used to host a workshop then it will be advertised well in advance on our Social media and Whatsapp channels.

MESSY CRAFTS ROOM

We have an area that houses many options for messy crafts. The tables can be arranged to suit your needs. This area is for paint and wet crafts such as paper making, batik , printing, painting, air dry clay, plus enamelling, glass fusing, plastic forming to name but a few.

WHAT CAN I USE?

We have some starter packs such as paint and paper plus other consumables. You can use anything that is out. Our materials are subject to fair use and a donation towards the cost is appreciated as this helps us stock up with more consumables. If you want to bring in any of your own supplies such as ink / paint etc they must be submitted to our COSHH channel for risk assessment checks first.

DO I NEED TO BOOK?

The Prometheus kiln needs an induction before you can use it. This can be booked on our Other Crafts WhatsApp channel. The microwave kiln does not need induction but both these items require booking as they can only accommodate one person using them at a time.

The rest of the equipment does not require booking but it is advisable to check on WhatsApp to see if anyone is planning on coming in first. All equipment is subject to our fair use policy.
