Membership
Welcome to the Makerspace Ashfield Members Area.
This section brings together all of the key information, policies, and guidance that help us keep the space safe, welcoming, and well-run for everyone.
Whether you’re a new member getting started or a long-time maker brushing up on procedures, you’ll find everything you need here to understand how we work together as a community.
These documents outline what’s expected of all members, how we keep each other safe, and the standards we uphold as a community makerspace.
All Members are expected to read them carefully and ask questions if anything is unclear, together we can ensure Makerspace Ashfield continues to be a creative, supportive, and safe place for everyone.

How to apply
Makerspace is a volunteer run organisation and so the current capacity of the volunteers to process and manage members is limited. While we grow this capacity we are inviting new members in small batches. This is to ensure the safety of members, the space, and the equipment.
To begin the process of applying please fill in our application form.
The membership team will then be in contact to invite you to an open induction session where we will give you a tour of Makerspace and an overall building induction. Following this, your guide will answer any questions that you may have and invite you to complete the final steps to becoming a full member.
Please bear with us though as we ramp this process up. With the level of interest that we are receiving it may be some time before the team are able to invite you to a session.
